Hazy, deep orange and golden coloured body with a dense glow that gives way to a bit of floaters hanging out here, all with a thinnish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall, fluffy white head that fades fast. Aroma of pineapples (of course), some tropical fruit notes including guava and passionfruit, and a dry wheatie and slightly briney scent. Light-bodied; Strong dry malts show at first and then give way immediately to a bunch of fruity flavours including the pineapple, mangoes, citrus fruits and even some guava - all very nice and fruity, but the beer sort of dies out. Aftertaste shows the fruits, a very light maltiness and a good deal of watery and simplistic notes that don't contribute much else aside from some filler flavours. Overall, a decent beer that has a lot of pineapple and tropically notes, but very little else, especially in terms of body or complexity, which perhaps was expected, but not too nice. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Tamura's Fine Wine in Kihei, Maui, Hawai`i on 18-August-2019, sampled while packing my suitcase at the Maui Airport (OGG) on 19-August-2019 waiting for my flight home with my family.

Hazy gold pour. Pineapple aroma. It tastes sweet with pineapples and bready, grainy malt and a little strawberry. It’s decent.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Daytona Beach, FL. Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head and poor retention. Spots of lacing. Faint pineapple aroma. Basic wheat ale with a dry pineapple finish with some faint citrus too. I don't really taste the strawberry. Light body. Mellow all around. It's okay. Thirst quenching but not very beery.

12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 10/20/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruit skin/seed, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, clove, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruit skin/seed, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, clove, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light fruit/wheat tang/tartness; herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruit skin/seed, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitter/spicy/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no cloying, puckering, astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tart/tangy/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/grainy, and fairly sticky/acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited American wheat ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the mildly bitter/tart/tangy/spicy/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of juicy/jammy fruit and American wheat yeast complexity; with a nice sized pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Light residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Best of the series yet.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent perry color with a foamy white head. Mixed fruit aroma - getting strawberry and pineapple. Med minus body. Flavor is strawberry with something resembling pineapple. I say it should be called strawberry cart. Ah well.
