Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pumpkin, honey, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, allspice, vanilla, cream, graham cracker, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with light notes of herbal, floral, wood, grass, peppercorn, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/bready malts, pumpkin, pumpkin spice, vanilla, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big pumpkin, honey, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, allspice, vanilla, cream, graham cracker, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with light notes of herbal, floral, wood, grass, peppercorn, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and ginger/cinnamon/clove spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, honey, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, allspice, vanilla, cream, graham cracker, toasted biscuit, brown bread/crust, herbal, floral, wood, grass, peppercorn, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malts, pumpkin, pumpkin spice, vanilla, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome pumpkin ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malts, pumpkin, pumpkin spice, vanilla, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish; awesomely soft feel for the style. Perfectly balanced between rich malts, pumpkin, and spice flavors; with solid earthy hops. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
