Beautiful, clear pink coloured body with a very thin, pink and off-white coloured head that is large-bubbled and looks more like soda than beer. Aroma of very funky, floral, soured, tart and herbal notes with some berries and yeast noticeable and a lot of apples - akin to an apple Cider in terms of some of the smells. Light-bodied; Strong tart and grassy flavours dominate with some of the apples, berries and soured fruit coming through without much else, perhaps some bready yeast and light honey sweetness on the tail end as well. Aftertaste shows some of the apple and soured fruit funk that is coupled with a dry and herbal character, but the fruit and tart notes are great and very soft, while showing some light sweetness and robust qualities and being very easy-to-drink. Overall, a fairly interesing beer throughout which shows very crisp and clean, which might make it nice for Spring/Summer! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 19-November-2019 for US$1,87 sampled at home in Washington on 25-November-2019.Β

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/28/2019. Pours slightly hazy golden/orange/amber/light reddish color with a small foamy and fluffy off white head with poor retention, that reduces to a thin rig of lace that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy red/green apples, cranberry, cherry, peach, and fruit peel/skin/pits; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of A bit of weird chemically aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of apple, cranberry, peach, cherry and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy red/green apples, cranberry, cherry, peach, and fruit peel/skin/pits; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate fruit tang/tartness; and herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy red/green apples, cranberry, cherry, peach, and fruit peel/skin/pits, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of apple, cranberry, peach, cherry and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tart/tanginess and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very nice fruit beer. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of apple, cranberry, peach, cherry and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish. Great big juicy/vibrant fruits; with solid pale malt and earthy hop presence/balance. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp tart/tangy dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Can at Pastimes. The beer is a clear ruby color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of cherry, peach and wheat. Light-bodied with a fruit cocktail flavor of apple, cherry and peach with some biscuit malt in the background. The finish is fruity with a wine cooler aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear cranberry color with a fizzy white head that quickly disappeared. No lacing. Pours like a soda. Tart fruit aroma. Tart cranberry and green apple flavor. This tastes like a cider, not a fruit beer. Crisp mouthfeel. Too tart for me.
