Rated during the corn teen of 2020. Pours slightly cloudy with some precipitants in there. Smell is off, perhaps a little farmy. Saison flavors backed by mango, not sure if I appreciate the mango or not. It adds a slight undesirable effect to an otherwise decent brew. I just don't get this brew, why put mango into a good thing? To make it better? Not sure. Becomes a little fruity in the middle, in an annoying kind of way. Go figger. Not straight up ass but it is a little sugary in the end. Weird fer sher.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered hazy yellow-tan body. Thin, oily white head. The mango puree or whatever isn't that appealing or well incorporated, sort of tastes like you dropped a bucket of unwanted mango puree into the serving tank. I have a feeling the base Belgian Blonde would have been quite nice. As it is sort of cheesy and artificial.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the Hoof Hearted Musk & Roller Blabe 3D Tapping + Kenny's Meat Wagon event on 09/06/2019. Clear pale gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lace. Fruit, yeast and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of fruity yeast, malt and faint hops. The finish is Belgian yeast and bland fruit. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle from a Giant Supermarket. Clear gold in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of Belgian yeasts with a touch of leafy hops. Flavour had stone fruit, yeasty malts, and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Super clear and golden body with a light peach glow, all with a very thin, barely noticeable and super quick-dying pure white head. Aroma of funk, belgian yeast, light candy sugar, a dose of flowers and more dry belgian and yeast components with coriander seed, light bubble gum and a large hit of curacao and even full oranges. Light to Medium-bodied; Super strong yeast and belgian profile at first with the malts, candy sugar and fruits hitting first, showing off the very noticeable mango bite along with some oranges and a touch of peaches as well. Aftertaste shows the belgian yeast throughout, but especially at the end with some wheat and coriander seed freshness, but the fruits and the sugars really come out to shine at the end. Overall, an interesting and definitely yeast-centric beer that shows a lot of fruit characteristics with a lot of sweetness as well, but no real consistent and concise flavour profile that they succeeded with here. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 18-July-2019 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 30-September-2019.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 12/24/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of mangoes, fruity/spicy yeast, pale malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; light herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, white grape, peppercorn, clove, cracker, white bread, banana, bubblegum, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, fruity/spicy yeast, pale malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.8%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Belgian blonde. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, fruity/spicy yeast, pale malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink; with the mellowly bitter/spicy/tart/tangy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of juicy fruits, and Belgian yeast; with a great clean pils malt backbone, and solid earthy Tettnang hop presence. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.

Bottle. Pours yellow gold. Biscuit, dry cracker in the nose, hell of a lot of sweet sticky mango in the flavour, honey, sweet bright mango, little banana Belgian yeast stuff, little tangerine. Medium body. Bright, fruity and quite tasty, if a little simple. Decent.
