12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/10/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice desne foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome Citra, Azacca, El Dorado, Chinook profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean oat/pale/Munich backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected of the brewery.

Canned May 20th 2019. Can conditioned.

It pours a clear pale gold with a finger or more of foam, plenty of lacing.

It smells of citrus, tropical fruit, toasted malt, not indicating a lot of bitterness.

Very smooth tasting. Citrus and tropical fruit provide the hoppy notes with a low level of bitterness. Toasted malt does a nice job of balancing. No dankness, thank goodness. The 40 IBUs are doing their magic. So smooth.

Is it juicy? Yes, and that helps the overall mouthfeel.

Excellent. And worthy of a repurchase.

The Aromas are floral, mint, Hops and some pale malt. Flavors are slightly Lake Nose, hops coming on a bit stronger but really not a lot going on. A bit sweet upfront with low bitterness decent carbonation body and finish. OK beer.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours translucent/hazy with a nice white head. Aroma of lemon, pale stone fruit and pale, very, very slightly roasty malt. Med body. Flavor is juicily undry; noticeable roasty malt support. Seems to have quite a bit of citrus, but not a strong citrus bite. Seems to have a tang, which might include some tropicals. Overall, dry, moderately hoppy, decently bitter. Good summer drink.
