Can from lowcostbeer. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with small white head. Aroma of fragrant stone fruits, citrus, some caramel. It has a smooth sweet and slightly syrupy malt character, with apricot and orange coming through and a moderate bitterness. A little simple but certainly tasty.

On tap at HopDog, München, Thursday 8th October 2020. This feels like an old school style US IPA, very typical and reminiscent of many that I have had in the past but not come across for a long while. Pours warm gold with a white head, mouthfeel is a little oily, syrupy, hoppiness is there but sweetness wins, some sweet oranges come through, there is a light bitterness. Fine but the easiest way to consider this beer is look is to consider the opposition and then look at it again, for example, if this beer were a boxer it would be an overweight, ageing guy whose best years were behind him.

Can pour into taster glass from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Appearance is lightly hazy, golden yellow with minimal sparkle and finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is danky vegetation, melon, floral/citrusy notes and malt backbone. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, taste and feel are almost like a DIPA (which makes sense given the alcohol). Decent.

Bottle/Fest. A- Mild citrus. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Malty, floral, mild citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Didn't get a lot of fruity or citrus flavors. I think this could be a decent beer but at the time and place of my drinking it, I couldn't really pick out much excitement within it.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/20/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel and not aggressive. Awesome Galaxy, Simcoe, Amarillo, & MI Experimental profile. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Best IPA I've had from them yet.
