Plenty caramel malt flavours, fairly sweet and a bit boozy. Apricots, bit of resin hops. Hoppy American strong ale.

Super hazy deep raw honey and golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall just off-white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of alcohol, light peaches, apricots and some pears, but the astringency, resin and pure hop funk shows through with a bunch of alcohol, of course. Medium-bodied; Super resinous, very deep piney and almost deeply full-bodied in terms of the alcohol punch that shows a lot of malts with a good balance of hops, but that somehow still doesn't compare with the astringency and punch of the alcohol and warmth from this one. Aftertaste is deep and pungent with a lot of metallic, malt and pure alcohol flavours towards the end, but some apricot, pear and apple flavours do come through and sort of offsets the alcohol and funk at the end. Overall, a deeply astringent, powerful and strong beer that doesn't really show as an Imperial IPA, this is more of a Wheat Wine or an American Strong, as it's hop flavours are fairly well muted considering the alcohol punch. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 19-April-2019 for US$5,22 sampled at home in Washington on 11-October-2019.

Good TIPA, on the sweet side but with a juicy hop bite and a welcoming boozy fade. Tons of caramel mixes on top of grapefruit, orange marmalade, pine, peach, and apricot, leading to a resinous finish, mildly bitter but with a potent alcohol warmth. Flirts with cloyness but backs off just in time; the potent liquor heat never grows too abrasive. Good, if a tad chunky.

Kind of disappointed here. Aromaz are old hops, a little caramel malt, wet paper and wet grain. Flavors are similar to Nose, almost too sweet luckily enough bitterness and carbonation to help balance.

Canned 3-28-19. Aroma has citrus, honey, tropical. Flavor shows citrus? Yes. Apricot? Yes. Honey? Yes. A lot of booze? Yes. When it warms up a bit the booze is not hidden at all. Juicy texture? Slightly. Not bad.
