Bottle: Poured a deep bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grassy and citrusy floral hops is powerful but also very enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by huge grassy, citrusy floral hops notes with lightly sweet malt backbone. Resinous hoppy notes are also noticeable and overall there is lots of hops oil flavours coming through. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Probably one of the best IIPA brewed in Ontario.

(650ml bottle from the LCBO) Pours fairly clear pale amber with a frothy white head, lots of lace. Aroma powerfully hoppy, tropical fruit (guava/passion fruit/mango), orange rind and flesh, quite resinous but not much pine, maybe pineapple though? Some sweet caramel malt and a little booze. Palate follows the nose quite well, tropical fruit, orange, intensely resinous. Moderately sweet caramel and biscuit malt core holds that bit punch of fruit. Resinous bitterness towards the finish dries things out, still loads of hops, a little menthol, slight booze. A bit shy of complete palate destruction. Medium, slightly sticky body, soft carb. Very good DIPA, huge hops, nice profile. Booze isn’t excessive, not sickly sweet.

Pretty tasty beer. Pours cloudy amber with good lacing and some head. Aroma of tangerine, malt, some tangy booze and tropical fruit. Nice bitter finish and a big palate. Thick texture a little i’m the syrupy side, but well-balanced. Tap at The Rhino.

An orange amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with floral piney hops, doughy notes, and alcohol warmth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with licorice, loads of alcohol warmth, floral hops with mentol and citrus, very nice.
