Bottle. Amber chestnut. Metallic, malt, sweetness. Rather sweet, booze, creamy. Rather heavy, but not undrinkable.

Auer Maibock, Flasche von Appel, Au i.d. Hallertau. - Dunkelgoldbraun, klar. (20.4.2022.)

Luppoli e Uva Varese 05.06.21

I think the bottle was from Jonas, thanks! Consumed after a long evening of hot-gluing speaker grilles, which may improve the rating as it is a well-deserved beer. Dark brown crystal clear, decent head. Tangy nutty caramel nose. An almost Belgian like yeasty complexity mixed with the dark-bready notes. Slightly sweet and caramelly, but with a good bitter balance. Expired, but I can't say that harmed it, this beer is still excellent.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 17th April 2019 whilst listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music (yes the internet is finally sorted) and cooking Toad in the Hole with Alpen Käsetrainer taking the place of a British Banger/Sausage. Pours hazy chestnut in colour with a head that soon departed and leaving a few stray bubbles, that said the carbonation is fine. A nice Maibock, nice softness, caramel led, good sweetness, malty, but with some dark fruits in the background. Very nice.

Plaisante.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear brown. Aroma is caramel, bubblegum, phenols. Body is heavy, strongly sweet but not sticky, bubblegum again, lively carbonation, only softly bitter. Great balance.
