Got in a trade with spelingchampeon. 12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 10/5/2018. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Light resins/rinds lingering near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an excellent NE APA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Calypso, Denali, El Dorado, Citra, Ekuanot, & Zythos hops. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice bready wheat/oat/malt backbone for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12 ounce can. Hazy medium gold color. Frothy white head. Bright citrus fruit nose. Crisp wheat malt flavor upfront. Notes of bread and sweet citrus. Pineapple, mango and lemon. Tart dry finish.
Tropical. Easy drinking. Could certainly rip through these on a cool summer afternoon on the beach.
