From tap at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Wonderfully tart with an aroma of guava, tropical fruits, mango, and passionfruit. Nice refreshing sourness, medium body. Very tasty, scores extra points for drinkability.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of peaches, guava and apricots. Fruity, tart taste with peaches, guava, citrus and a dry finish with low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and refreshing, well made Berliner weisse. Nice one.

Pours slightly hazy gold and has a lightly tart aroma with tropical fruit. The flavor is mildly tart with refreshing tropical fruit flavors. It's easy drinking and light bodied.

Was excited to see this bottle at kroger. Yes it does come across like a mild tart berliner. Taste is friendly and laid back, not over the top in fruit in the beginning. Pours clear pale and there is a hint that its berliner on the nose, you know, that somewhat farmy sour thing? In the middle the fruit starts to come thru. Decent co2, but there could be more by berliner standards. Not quite as refreshing as a real old country berliner, but what the heck, its still pretty good in the end. Good stuff, could do with a little less of that fru-fru-fruity thang.

Not much going on here, light fruit (mango) flavors, low-med sourness, perhaps a little too much in the way of bittering hops. Light, mildly refreshing, but uninteresting. Green tea color.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 9/8/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy passion fruit, guava, mango, melon, berries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy passion fruit, guava, mango, melon, berries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy passion fruit, guava, mango, melon, berries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance, with zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weiss! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery. Extremely juicy tropical fruits with balanced Lacto complexity; and a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Bright and fruity, but not all that complex, with moderate veins of passion fruit and guava set against strong citric-berry tartness and a mild grainy sweetness on the back end. Finishes yeasty and sour, refreshing but lacking much personality. Pours a weak gold with a brief white head. Perky texture’s a positive. Eh.
