Ever so slightly hazy golden and blonde coloured body with a bunch of small bubbles rising from the bottom with a small, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of soap, light grass, some subdued yeast and malts with a touch of lactose and milk with a touch of guava and orange flavours, but no passionfruit or mangoes at all. Light-bodied; Strong dry flavours with some light wheat and grassy body, but more of a lactose and subdued flavour from the lacto-portions of this one with some light fruit flavours noticeable that show some full oranges and guava and perhaps some pears and apples. Aftertaste shows the dry yeast, some light wheat and grain and a touch of citrus at the very end, all with a nice subdued character given the mildness from everything else. Overall, a well-balanced and very easy-drinking beer with a nice profile and fruity finish. Nice to sample and worth trying if you like Berliner's. I sampled this twelve ounce an purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 04-July-2018 for US$9,99/six pack, sampled at home a few hours later on 04-July-2018 while watching the fireworks from home over Washington.
