Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a very straw yellow glow, with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white and tan head that caps the beer nicely, for a long time. Aroma of bright citrus fruits, some grapefruit, a good kick of resin with strong malts noticeable as well, but the dry notes are evident, as is some alcohol and bitterness from the alpha acids. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich malts show some wheat, but mostly oaty with a big dose of sweetness, especially the lactose here, but some grapefruit and curacao notes remain strong and pungent here, in a deep and robust way, with the full alcohol noticeable on the end. Aftertaste is very deep, too, with a lot of alpha acid punch from the hops, a deep malt support from the oats, pungent sweetness from resin and lactose, all ending with some medicinal astringency of the alcohol, which does show itself. Overall, a strong beer throughout, but that's good - it should be and feel deep for the style - the grapefruit and resin notes are pungent, as are the bitterness and alcohol - nice to have, very fresh, indeed! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Glen Ro Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 25-November-2022 for US$3,99, canned on 03-October-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 05-January-2023.

Can (8/11/21) pour. It's an opaque light brown with light sparkle, finger-plus width fluffy white head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong orange and lemon citrus, apricot, mild alcohol over mild bread. Taste mirrors aroma exactly with hint of pineapple. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation, slight alcohol and finish as taste. Overall, nice strength and decent complexity but alcohol presence detracts a bit.

13 oz pour at Hop and Hound. What a beautiful day to drink a super juicy imperial IPA that drinks as smooth as this one does. Tropical fruit, a d a fresh feel to it. Pineapple hints, which is good. I dont do too well with an overpowering pineapple presence. A classic, cleaner golden pour, oily fizz head, active carb. Really pleasant imperial here. I'm totally on board with the juicy, yet not hazy IPA style. Yum!

Can. Pours hazy golden orange, medium white head, good residual and lacing. Aroma is oranges, pine, grapefruit, hint of caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, grapefruit and citrus, melon. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness.
07/24/18, lots of grapefruit and pineapple, much citrus upfront, love the can art.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/24/2018. Pours moderately hay/cloudy deep golden amber/slight orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 8.75% after the finish. Overall this is an awesome NEDIPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Apollo hops. Awesome balanced mix of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; great wheat/oat/malt balance, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Loved the hop profile.

Pour looks like fruit juice with a large white head. Aroma is orange juice for days. Orange peel, orange juice everything oranges. Flavor is again pretty much all orange juice with a little bitterness after the swallow. Sure it's one dimensional with pretty much all orange juice flavor but extremely fruity and fresh.

On tap at Willimantic, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of stone fruits, moderate dank hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is super juicy, with loads of juicy tropical stone fruits, moderate dank hops and citrus. So juicy and tropical. This is awesome.
