Brewed back in October 2017, in collaboration with beer writer Melissa Cole. This old style saison is brewed with spelt & rye in the grist, then re-fermented with De La Senne's house Brett Brux culture before bottling.

Bottle. Nose is fizzy tablet, orange peel, citrus. Palate is quite a lot of fizzy tablet, some orange. Ok.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is candy strawberry funk grape pips. Taste is bitter grape pips with some booze. Medium drinkable. Ok.

Bottle. Cloudy grey pale yellow. Bergamotte, citrus, perfumed. Medium dry, light metallic yeasty. Fun.

Bottle at home, opens with a super loud bang. Hazy golden yellow with very big white head. Lots of sweaty Brett, light lemon, fresh wheat, fresh pineapple, soft citrus hop, light herbs, farmyard, grass. Just medium sweet, bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with fresh, almost crispy feel. So fresh, bright and drinkeable. Another great DLS beer!

Bottle. Etre Gourmet. Hazed, straw colour. Huge head that kept growing out the glass for a good five minutes. Nose has crisp and clean brett. Clean, dry grain. Lemon rind. Lemon ice cream. Some red apple skin. Light pepper notes. Taste has a honey sweetness, with the lightest of bretty twang. Airy mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Nice one. Be interesting to see how this develops.

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. Hazy gold in colour with a short-lived, white, head. Aroma of tangerines, yeasty malts, spice and floral hops. Flavour was had more fruit with some grainy malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, BB 21/11/19. Dorée sur léger voile, col épais blanc. Arôme offre, au premier abord, un bouquet devenu maintenant classique de la Bruxellensis, un brett bien dosé sous couvert de belles notes de grains - ici, épeautre. Fines effluves fruitées se dégagent avec pointe de raisin blanc et léger poivre noir. On pourrait même y retrouver une petite marque de Max et sa fameuse saison. En tout rétro-nasal, impression de croûte de fromage type pâte molle et en rétro de fourrage-paille fleuri. Palais est bien pétillant, bonne épaisseur de grains qui reste accompagné par un léger effet brett, fleuri-assez sec et finement fruité. Citronné, fleuri et sécheresse du grains qui perdure.

Bottle at Nuetnigenug. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with spicy and funky notes. Dry and funky flavour with leather, hay, barnyard and a touch of pineapple. Nice bitter finish.

Twice 330 ml. bottle @ Beerlovers Bar. Paler golden, very soapy white head. Nose is mineral, De La Senne, grainy, spelt. Very tasty lively interesting mineral, cereal, spelt, De La Senne styled, fluffy cereal, hay spelt. Plenty of spelt, mineral, De La Senne affair. Tasty, great drinking & different from other saisons out there, true to their style.

Thnx to eugene ! Pours unclear blonde, big white , stable head. Smell is brett, full, grains, medium intense, complex and blended in very well. Taste is full, intense, brett, complex, bit hay. Very nice !
