Nice looking can. Pale, no hint of blueberry in the color. Smell is just plain metallic beer. Taste does have a hint of blueberry in there but for the most part, this is just another fruit beer. Lacks the tartness or sweetness associated with so many shandies. Yes, not sure if I even taste any lemon in there at all. Average fruit beer, even possibly a little below average as far as fruit beers go. Although its not really artificial in its presence, this may even be an insult to the world of radler, heheh.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy golden color with a tiny white head and poor retention. No lacing. Grainy lemon lager aroma. As expected, this tastes like 1/3 blueberry, 1/3 lemon and 1/3 beer. Interesting, but not as good as I had hoped. The flavors seem to compete with each other vs. enhance each other. Flat mouthfeel. Decent summer sipper.

Actually quite good for a radler. Has some decent body, and isn’t too fruity or “girly”. The Castle Berlin

Draft/Fest. A- Mild blueberry. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Blueberry muffins. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Aroma was okay but holy crap does this taste exactly like a blueberry muffin. Really doesn't taste anything like a shandy or any lemon flavor. Straight up muffin. Very delicious. Saugatuck really knows how to use blueberries as an adjunct.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a cloudy golden color with a large fluffy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with artificial blueberry. The flavor was strong sweet artificial blueberry, cracker and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/7/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon juice/peels, wheat, cracker and white bread; with light notes of vanilla, cream, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of fruit, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon juice/peels, wheat, cracker and white bread; with light notes of vanilla, cream, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon juice/peels, wheat, cracker, white bread, light vanilla/cream, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious shandy! All around nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. This tastes like a cream ale base with added fruit. Feels much more robust than a traditional radler/shandy. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
