Here in Shiner, TX, we raise a glass to tradition. So, for our 109th birthday, we'e celebrating with a limited-edition beer inspired by the homemade brew enjoyed after a long day in the fields. Our Farmhouse Rye is made with Munich Wheat and Rye, then coarsely filtered for a hazy and flavorful finish.

Bottle from Albertsons. At first all seemed right. Decent looking pour, faint aroma of the saison yeasts. But it wasn’t ain’t, it was weak. Taste didn’t follow at all, just grainy and bland. Finishes clean, like a glass of water clean, nothing, nada, zip.....Por excudse for an anniversary beer.

Clear gold pour with an off-white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Tastes like a mix between a light pilsner and a wheat ale. Sweet finish. Not bad. Definitely doesn't taste like a saison, and that's a good thing.
