The Philomène Florale is above all a beer of thirst. Its floral nose is engaging and perfectly introduces a controlled bitterness, finished by a very small hint of astringency which dries up the throat and invites to resume. Light golden blonde in color, it has a slight cloudy veil due to wheat, reminiscent of the white beers of yesteryear. In addition to some expertly proportioned spices, 4 different malts and 3 varieties of hops are part of the composition of this thirst-quenching beer, which deserves to be drunk very fresh (4-6 ° C)!

Cloudy, muddy golden color and a white head. Yeasty, straight, decent malty and a hoppy Twist.

Extreme gusher. Smooth mild beginning. Floral parts, not too deep with a nice refreshing yeasty body. Grain, yeast, dry grain. Nice.

Clear yellow body. White fizzy head. Faint hoppy aroma mainly of grass, coriander, … not so floral as the name might indicate. Moderately bitter, quite watery flavour. Not very well balanced.

33cl bottle from Carrefour @ Cours St Michel in Brussels. F: medium, white, poor retention. C: gold, hazy. A: a lot of citrus, floral, bit pine, orange, tropical fruits. T: medium malty base, citrus, orange, bit dusty, pine touch aroma is promising yet taste is not so fruity, bit yeasty, medium carbonation, ok, enjoyed.

Bottle 330ml. @ home in garden. [ As Du Clocher Philomène Florale ].[ Trade by kraddel ]. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, wheat, citrus, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, saison yeast, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity yeast, floral, citrus, light sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20180712] 6-3-6-3-13
