bottle at home... post Florida 2020 tasting 1... dark black.. thin tan lacing... soft sweet bourbon chocolate roast malts nose... dark roast.. massive sweet coffee.. rich roast... big soft bourbon linger... nice

Pours dark brown into a tulip. Mocha head with good retention turns sickly as it recedes. Vanilla, soy and bourbon aromas. Thick with hot dark chocolate, caramel and espresso upfront turning to a hot bourbon burn finish.

Botella 66 cl en Cimmeria 09..06..2018. (r46). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro poco persistente que desaparece al poco dejando pequeňa corona. Sabores intensos destacando toques de bourbon alicorados. Maltosos tostados Co vtoques de cacaos y suaves vainillas. Maderas empapadas en bourbon ligeramente quemadas y con toques avainillados. Cuerpo intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Fina, alicorada, muy suave amargo. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Dark ebony, unsure of the clarity. No head.
Coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and toast in the nose give a classic American Imperial Stout character. Boozy vanilla esters, corn, straight ethanol, beans and DMS give the classic Clown Shoes character.
Three months old, plus assumedly some aging in barrel and bottle before release, yet it's still raw alcohol, glue, bitter phenols and other random alcohols. Hot liquor on the end. It's not syrupy, I guess? God, Clown Shoes sucks so badly....

Bottle/Fest. A- Cocoa, mildly sour, roasty. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Cocoa, boozy. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Maybe my palate was wrecked but I was less than impressed. Boozy and full of cocoa. Not really getting anything else. Seemed to be a big one dimensional beer. Not bad but not as robust, rich, or complex as I expected.
