Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy and fairly tart/tangy guava, passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pineapple, melon, berry, red/green apple, pear, white grape, sea salt, wheat, cracker, bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, passionfruit, guava, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy and fairly tart/tangy guava, passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pineapple, melon, berry, red/green apple, pear, white grape, sea salt, wheat, cracker, bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy guava, passionfruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pineapple, melon, berry, red/green apple, pear, white grape, sea salt, wheat, cracker, bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, passionfruit, guava, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and slightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Gose! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, passionfruit, guava, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the modestly lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Perfectly balanced Lacto/Brett complexity with passionfruit/guava, and a nice malt backbone. Very flavorful and never watery feeling for the ABV. Not as much salty notes as I expected, but solid. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.
