Klar brun med hvitt skum. Lukter malt og lyst brød. Lettdrikkelig og noe tam. Maltpreget og ellers kjedelig.

330ml bottle bought at La Boutique de la Cerveza. Lacing rings from a filmy layer, clear late straw coloured body. Distant aromas of grainy malts. Doughy taste with hints of lime. Short mid-sweet pale malty end. Empty, about drinkable. (Hotel room, Valencia, 21.02.2024).

Bottle from R Garcia & Sons, Notting Hill, London. Yellow with a thin white head and an annoyingly prickly fizz. Sweetish, watery and thin. A little lemon, then dust and cardboard. Pretty dismal; the things we do for a new country tick eh?

33 cl bottle at Restaurante venezolano La Cuchara, with my old man, a Venezuelan himself. A bubbly, crystal-filtered, pale golden lager with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma is so subtle, almost inexistent: a touch of sweet cereal, period. Light, watery, slightly sweet mouthfeel. Fizzy, thin, quite tasteless. No bitterness, just a hint of malty sweetness in the end. Rather mediocre.
