12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/14/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is a delicious American blonde ale! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very spot on stuff for the style. Nice rich malt flavors, balancing hops, and a characterful yeast profile that is well restrained. A very enjoyable offering.

Single bottle from Binny’s, 1/14. I get to give this one its "ranking." Malty, sweet beer smell under the cap. In the glass, there’s short fizzy head, and kind of a cheap lager smell. Taste is a little thick in the mouthfeel, which does notch it up a bit. It’s okay; not the Spotted Cow killer they’re claiming to be, just a little too sweet. After their many wilder brews on tap and in limited bombers, I guess they want to zero in on some basic beers to go to stores every day.

12oz bottle. Macro-ish tastes, funky garbage tinged off aroma. Someone who drinks macro beer would probably enjoy this a lot, but it is a pretty shabby beer for most on this site. A pinch better ingredients, but significant less quality control. Definitely one I won;t buy again.

Sample at the brewery. Begyle blond has a bit of a buttery and fruity ale aroma. Clean gold color with an earthy grassy light malt and mild crisp bitter finish. Tasted better than it smelled.
