McInMemries is a base beer brewed with ±4% whisky malt (dried over peat fires). Bourbon vanilla is added and gives the beer a light sweetness to balance out with the peatiness. Each year the base beer is bottled and first presented at Zythos in Leuven.

At Zythos 2017. Pours very dark brown. Aroma is vegetables, sweat socks, barrel, caramel. Body is heavy, very sweet, good bitterness, a little sticky, soft carbonation. Palate works with nuts and sweetness. If it weren’t for that nose...

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Slight phenolic. Toasted malty, caramelish and roasted malty. Sweet and caramelish finish.
