Bottle as pictured pours a thicker looking viscous liquid with a hop plant resinous odor. Slight hazy look of hefe. Tase is big thick monstrous citrus bite, alien to any citrus I know. Yes, quite large & incharge with its capacity to get in yer face. Surprisingly has a decent co2 that mo st big ipas lack. If you like IPA, go for it and ignore my numbers, terribly onstyle; big bold balderdash. Piss off. A pretty tuff in yer face hoppy beer, lust like the picture on the label, heheh.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 4/19/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with insane retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, papaya, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, to9asted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is an amazing IPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the smooth bitter finish. Very bright, juicy, and dank hops; nice malt backbone with minimal residual sweetness. A highly enjoyable and delicious offering.

Draft, Nano Brew Cleveland on 26 Nov, 2014. clear yellow with very slight head. Aroma is cat piss mixed with citrus. Flavor has a base of pale malts, grapefruit and again cat piss. Very thin watery body. Well if you like cat pee you should really love this brew, not really enjoyable for me.

Clear gold color. Nice lacing on a good sized head. Nose is all cat pee with some sweet orange. Taste. Well it’s certainly astringent. Juicy but it insanely bitter. If I didn’t like citra beers, this would be too much.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a medium sized creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was strongish pine and catbox. The flavor was tangy and bitter catbox, pine, spruce and black pepper. Medium length tangy bitter catbox and pine finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Sample at Nano Brew Cleveland. The brew pours a hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes slowly to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and malt. Medium-bodied with a citrusy hops character and notes of toasted malt and pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
