Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is tropical fruits with a blast of sweetish mango, fruity hops, and citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet with a hint of tartness and a surprisingly firm bitter finish. Body is medium. Fruity and bitter with lots of mango, very good!

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2018. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy mango, slight bitter citrus and earthy grains underlying. Flavor has sweet grains, mango and a bit of bitter citrus plus a grass bite.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/23/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big mango, melon, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, mango, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mango, melon, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, melon, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, mango, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness; a touch of hop/fruit astringency near the end of the glass, but not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resin/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.5%. Overall this is a very nice fruited IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, mango, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; despite the increasingly bitter/drying finish. Very dank/juicy on hops with balanced mango fruit; and just enough malt for balance. A very enjoyable offering.
