Straw colored with a light, creamy head, our Spencer feierabendbier is a Trappist Pilsner. Traditional noble German hops provide herbal notes, a floral nuance and the classic light closing bitterness. Crisp, clean and refreshing - perfect after a day at work.
Changed to new label and new name "Spencer Premium Pilsener" in 2018 (one year after the original release).

Pours an oh-so-slightly hazy golden straw from a bottle. Noble hop nose, a little barnyard/grass, a little corn syrup is added to the flavor. Some bitterness toward the end. Good beer.

Draft pour at The Sovereign in DC. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small but fluffy, fizzy head. Aroma was light sweet grassy notes, grain. Light sweet grain character. Very light, but very refreshing. Quite tasty.

Pours a slightly hazy pale straw into a pilsner. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Cracker, sourdough, and wet hay aromas. Medium bodied with sourdough and grass upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.
