On tap at Six Ten. Pours a hazy pink with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is berry and cough syrup. Thin body, tart berry, lacto, light dry finish, good.

Pours a clear reddish-gold color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of berries, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a tart blueberry character, with some slightly funky yeast and doughy malt in the background. The finish is mildly tart with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of pure blueberries, some sour lemons, a bit of grain and a nice sour vinegar and funky yeast smell - very nice throughout. Light-bodied; Very mild sour flavour with a nice wheatie and mellow malt backbone showing some citrus, a little sour yeast funk and a lot of pure blueberry flavours with some light and smooth sweetness from the fruit. Aftertaste shows the blueberry fruit, a bit of wheat and yeast and a touch of lemon and citrus to add to the complexity and funk of this one. Overall, very dry and mild with a sour kick, some light sweetness, and a very pleasant fruit flavour of blueberries and a bit of citrus. A very nice beer, easy-to-drink and showing a lot of character, especially for the alcohol and body. I think this one should be categorised as a Berliner Weisse, but that’s just me. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 10-June-2017 for US$3,50 sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here in Midtown Manhattan on 10-June-2017.

Not bad, it’s a good dry sour with true (not artificial seeming) blueberry aromas and flavors. Never too fruity or sweet: tart, crisp and drinkable. Purplish color and foamy quick head.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 4/7/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear reddish orange/light purple color with a 1-2 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart blueberry, lemon, cherry, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk/vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tart blueberry, lemon, cherry, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk/vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart blueberry, lemon, cherry, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk/vinegar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tartness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a nice fruited sour ale. All around good robustness and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the balanced tartness/acidity. Not a whole lot of complexity, but still really tasty and nicely enjoyable.

12oz can. Filtered purple red body. Purple tinged off-white head rims the glass. I really enjoyed this one. Sweet blueberry tones, reasonable lemony yogurt sour tone. A pretty solid offering, not an out of control sour bomb like so many others that dabble in the realm. More along the lines of a killer fruit beer. Unique, fills a niche.
