bottle - This cider is very straightforward. It has a pleasant apple and blueberry smell. The flavor very sweet with apples and a healthy dose of sweet blueberry flavor. It’s fairly good though as is typical for Woodchuck it’s sweeter than I’d like.

Bottle at a work event. From notes. Sweet and tart apples dominate. A decent fakeass blueberry jolly-rancher type flavor in there too. Meh, drinkable but not really my thing.

Bottle @ Greg’s dump, pregaming Trailhead Tuesday. Pours a light golden appearance with a white head. Medicinal, herbal, slightly minty, soda aroma. Twangy berry, artificial, syrupy flavor. Not very good.

Hard cider? On a beer website, well, ok, I’ve had it and have the notes right in front of me, so, let’s do this.
The aroma was actually quite fragrant as sweet as it comes across there’s a decent amount of other fruits going on such as blueberries and I think some raspberries as well.
The appearance was a clear carbonated amber/orange color. I think I’m realizing with ciders that aren’t supposed to be any heads in these. Ok, fair enough.
The taste was wow, extremely sweet, and the apples come out a bit stronger to push the blueberries back.
The palate, well, that sits fairly light and shows some carbonated harshness on my mouth and tongue.
Overall, well, its a hard cider and though I’m still trying to understand why its here on this website, but I’ll leave it alone I guess and just push forward. Maybe, I’ll try to understand these things better as life goes on....we’ll see.

From old notes now that we are able to put the rating in the system. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this cider poured an incredibly pale yellow color with no head and no lacing. The aroma was sweet berries and apple. The flavor was sweet and tart berries and apple. Long sweet sugar, berry and apple finish. Light and watery body. Ok.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear with a ting of white/yellow and small white head that dissipates quickly. Light apple aroma, small lacing, virtually no carbonation, and light body. Taste is light sweet apple and then a slight tartness.

Draft. A- Sweet fruits, sour, apples, pears, berries. A- Dark golden color, clear liquid, no head. T- Apples, sweet, slightly tart, hints of blueberries. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, sweet dry finish. O- A great cider and one of my favorites. The subtle blueberry notes are awesome and it is quite refreshing. Although it is a very sweet cider, you could session drink this. Just not much too much to complain about with this one.

Bottle sampled at the World Beer Festival Richmond, 6/12/10. Pours nearly colorless with the faintest tinge of yellow with no head. The aroma is tart, sweet and candy-like. Nondescript overly sugary fruity notes very reminiscent of gummy bears, along with a bit of grain. The taste is more gummy bears along with apples and citrus. Cloying and artificial. Thin bodied. I was thinking about picking up a six pack of this. Thankfully I tried it here first.
