Trillium Tap takeover at Beavertown 08/07/2017. Bottle shared. Thanks! A light hazed golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice juicy mango, tangerine, orange and apricot, mellow. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, base malts, toffe, mango ,apricot and orange, mixed fruit salad. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation.

Gulbrun tåkete med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukt, kokos, sitrus, trevirke og noe krutt. Middels fylde. Smaker mango, lett bitter sitrus, krutt, ananas og noe karamell.

150 ml. glass @ Craft & Draft, briefly worried about seeing the New England moniker but I dig both breweries, Beavertown a bit more so I figured why not. Luckily I got something that is not quite New England and something quite different an unusual an interesting. Golden, orange, small white. Nose is quite sweet actually apricot, peach, sweet malt with almost candy overtones. Taste is sweet candy, white grape, almost sugar, vaguely near vegetable but overall an interesting oddly sweet white grape & sweeter peach profile, doesn’t perfectly work but it is an interesting take on the IPA genre. Peculiar but tasty.

On tap at craft & draft. A bit clear for a NEIPA. Medium to big body. Very hoppy, quite sweet, medium bitterness. Could be juicier for the style. Nicely balanced though. Some lemon and really refreshing on a hot dauike today. Just lacking a bit of oomph for me, it something to stand out. But a really solid IPA, lacking the distinctive juiciness for the style. Still a good IPA.

Yellow colour with light haze and fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have tropical fruit in extremis. Lots of grapefruit. Nice smooth texture. Citrus peel bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Beavertown. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds peach, ripening citrus, orange, a little pine. Light to medium sweet flavour with nice rindy bitterness, some further piney notes, dry pale malts, tangerine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further rindy bitterness, some chalky yeast, pithy grapefruit and orange, moderate boozy warmth. Solid IPA overall.

Beavertown Trillium TTO. Bottle. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and has reasonable carbonation. Smooth and soft malts, a light creamy sweetness, Nice smooth pine. Good tropical fruits in the mid. Citrus peel and orange marmalade on the smooth finish. Nice, could be crisper.

Taste is dry citrusy, leafs, weeds, citrus peel, minerals, grass, hay, flowers, moss, bark, fruit stones, hops, dried fruits, orange. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh citrusy mouthfeel. Nice enough.
