Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is strong boozy Bourbon, oak, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, some roast, some vanilla, hint of coconut and dark fruits. Flavour is sweet with some bitterness in the finish. Rather boozy with some sharpness, but I'm not bothered by it. Body is full. Quite enjoyable with some lovely Bourbon.

Belle noire, mousse beige assez tenace. Nez très complexe. Odeurs multiples mais le torréfié et le fumé dominent avec ensuite le café/chocolat, le fruit sec (un peu) et l'alcool. Bouche douce en entrée puis plus marquée par l'alcool puis le fumé, le chocolat, le caramel, le fruit noir un peu, le whisky encore, les épices. Tout bon Imperial mais je sens un peu trop l'alcool.

Bottle at BBT 6/2023. Medium body, medium carbonation. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Med-high warmth, it is soft, but still prominent in this intensity. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, med-light coffee. Med-light bourbon, light woodiness and chilli heat. Also light blackcurrant. Overall good, but not great. The fruit is a bit lost in here, does not work very harmoniously all together.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, coffee, light black currant notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty roasty coffee bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle at BBT 6/2023. Dark brown color with minimal beige head. Aroma of dark malt, bourbon, black currant, chocolate, light coffee. Taste is tons of coffee, light milk chocolate, chilly is evident. Good.

1/5/2023. Bottle from Beerdome online store, shared at SBGP2. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Rich aroma, cocoa, coffee, bourbon, blackcurrant, liquorice, treacle, molasses. Moderate sweetness and quite heavy bitterness with a slight tart edge. Full bodied, creamy slick mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Mild chilli finish developed. Very good.

Draught@TCBW2018. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, black currant, some bourbon, vanill and mild alcohol to it. Flavour is quite much the same elements, but also has a slight spicy burn to it.

Draft. Black beer with a brown head. Caramel and light toffee aroma. Bourbon, rich malt, and toffee flavor with light molasses, light coffee, and light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Rich malt and light molasses linger with bourbon and light coffee.
