Pint of draft at the Red Cow in Smithfield. This was a rough looking pint and not appealing on the eye in any shape or form. Super murky and reminded me of dishwater. Anyway, the taste was OK. Nothing special and there are many better session ipas out there.

Pint at the Vinehop in Poynton. Very thin uninspiring beer. Although described as an IPA I struggled to detect any IPA characteristics. One to avoid.

Can. Unclear pale golden body with a small white head. Aroma has grapefruit and really not much more. Flavor is light and refreshing, bit very one-dimensional grapefruit, no kind of bitterness, no body, no malt, no context, just plain, light hop juice. Medium to thin body and average aftertaste of grapefruit. Not much going on here, not my kind of beer.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a small, lacing, white head. Citrusy nose. Light body, slightly sweet fruitiness with little bitterness. Easygoing, but you won't get much of a party from this. 290125

Pint at the Three Wise Monkeys. Aroma of orange, lemon, hint of passion fruit, zest and pine. Taste is zesty bitterness, with tropical fruit, grapefruit and mango. Decent finish. Smooth and full bodied. Very nice.

Keg at Oslo, Hackney whilst at the excellent Skating Polly gig. Hazy orangey-gold colour with a white head and a gentle fizz. Pineapple and mango up front with a touch of caramel and pine. It's lightweight, but that just makes it all the more drinkable. A tasty modern session pale; I liked this.
