Pours lightly cloudy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of hop notes with balanced malt sweetness; and decent strength. Taste of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, bread, and floral earthiness. Moderate amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, and bread on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a moderate malt balance; and minimal cloying bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. Nice complexity and balance of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
