Our first batch of Quorum IPA was such a hit, we decided to give it its own name - Bully Pulpit - intensely hopped with Mosaic and Simcoe hops preaching to the the drinker what San Diego IPA’s should be - very dry and bold hop character with light malt background - huge fresh mango, citrus, resin and pine hoppiness dominating the aroma and flavor.

Can from Beergium. Hoppy aroma with fruity and herbal hops, grass, citrus, some pine, onions, and orange. Flavour is a bit sweetish with a bitter finish. Body is medium. West Coast IPA base with strong herbal Mosaic and Simcoe, oniony, a bit of an acquired taste I suppose. Flavour is solid, I like this.

Lost my rating earlier so tried it again at Van Moll (can). Slightly hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, grassy hoppy, light hop bitter. Alright.

Clear blond beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, some citrus notes, tropical fruits, little malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: oh my, tropical fruits overload, very good! Mango, pineapple, grapefruit, nice bitterness, lovely stuff. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, a bit malty, some orange peel, orange marmalade, more tropical fruits.

Thx! Draft sample @ Gollem: Craft Beer Madness #2. Golden, huge white head. Nose is pine, harsh, orange peel, pine,… Taste is oily pine, some yoghurt, yeast, bit too much of that with pine resin oil, unbalanced with some lesser parts.

West Coast IPA, formerly named Quorum IPA apparently, tasted at Craft Beer Madness at Gollem in Antwerp. Membranous-lacing, egg-white, medium thick head, clear deep and warm yellowish golden robe. Aroma of moldy old grapefruit, overripe onions, marijuana, stale lime juice, yellow curry, toasted garlic. Clean fruity onset, unripe banana, green melon and starfruit notes, softish carb, smooth and oily body; cereally, straightforward pale maltiness under a spicy, grapefruity, zesty and piney hop bitterness, long, dry and refreshing. Could have a bit rounder malt body to support the old school, West Coast bitterness, but otherwise enjoyable enough to an old school hophead like me.

32oz crowler pours with a clear copper bronze colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up floral and berry like hoppiness as well as a thin spike of pine to spicy hops and then there's a mild bready maltiness into the end of the draw. The taste delivers malt sweetened and slightly molasses sweetened berries, a faint strawberry sense and then spicy hoppy molasses. Interesting. Sort of malt forward with a pleasing bitter hoppy bite.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Poufs as clear earthy yellow white a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass, light pine, a hint of onion and some sweet grains supporting. Flavor combines sweet citrus with onion, some pine and a sweet grain note that supports.
