The English-style brown ale has an alluring mahogany color capped by a rich foam head. It is brewed with six different varieties of premium malted barley, creates a robust body and delicious flavor profile featuring hints of chocolate, raisins, dates and almonds. Its ripe fruit notes and malty-sweet finish are counterbalanced by a subtle hop bitterness and aroma.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark rich brown color. Aroma is that of yeast, some hops, and roasted malts. Flavor is pretty creamy, with coffee, nuts, and roasted malts taking the forefront to the flavors of the beer. Not bad, though nothing special. A good beer to drink - but not really to savor.

Bottle, part of a sampler pack. Cloudy dark brown pour, smallish head. Dryish brown ale, with nothing real memorable.

Draft sampler. Rating #995! Brown in the small glass, but with red highlights. Thin head. Sweet fruit notes, with some plum and fig. A good hop balance means its bitterness is hard to pick out. Low carbonation. aqctually the best fit to the BBQ beef brisket I had there.

draft sampler at the brewery - Pours a medium translucent brown with a thin head. A mild caramel malt aroma gives way to a similar mild flavor. Medium bodied and smooth, it’s nothing exciting, but is pretty good for quaffing.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium brown color with a large tan head. The aroma is moderate roasty malts. The flavor is moderate roasty malts and a hint of caramel. A fairly basic brown ale.

Different from the standard nut brown in the sweet flavor and the very heavy palate. This is a very thick beer for the style or in any style. Flavor is lightly hopped, and a little sweet. This is usually a session style but the heavy body makes it hard to drink a lot.

Pour is brown with a huge tan head!! It spilled over my 18 oz glass and i poured it correctly. Aroma is some notes of caramel but noting really stands out. Flavor is somewhat nutty and dark fruit but nothing to write home about. Considering half of this brew is on my kitchen floor right now i hope that part is better than the part in my glass. Not too good.

Deep brown with a gigantic head! Smell is quite ordinary to a nut brown, but the taste is more complex than the average. Light chocolates, deep roasted nuts. A very solid brew.

Pours fiery red-brown, with a creamy light tan head. Sour, nutty aroma. Flavor begins somewhat sour, with nutty and tangy malts mingling with hints of chocolate. Finishes in classic Arcadia style with earthy English hops taking over the palate.
