Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-mahogany color with a medium sized brown head. The aroma was malty caramel. The flavor was sweet and very malt with notes of caramel, vanilla, roastiness and light fruity hops. The finish was long, sweet and malty. The texture was thick, creamy and smooth. Excellent.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is a decent helping of dark fruit with some sugar and sourness. Flavor is a bit of dark fruit with some roasted malt but its just to damn watery. A dopple should be a bit more complex than this but this brewer never fails to disapoint.

12 oz bottle-pours a tan head and dark red color. Aroma is mild medium malt, peat/chalky, sour. Taste is medium malt-cocoa powder, peat/chalky, sour. Minimum carbonation. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out. 2.5 part way in. Deteriorates from there to 1.9

Medium brown beer with a foamy, lasting head - aroma of fig, prune, raisin, and a sour, possibly infected character - oh, yea, she tastes sour and infected up front - there is some caramel, raisin, and date underneath, but the acidic, sour flavor ruins it, even making it taste metallic at times.

Thanks to nearbeer for the bottle! The body is a cherry mahogany color that makes a thin soapy head of mocha. Caramel and molasses nose. Spritzy palate, the flavor is lightly sweet, no hop bitterness. Simple and easy to drink.

Clear caramel red-brown body, thin cream head. Nose of caramel, sweet breads, dark fruits, and leafy hops. Somewhat medicinal. Very light body, almost a sugar water with light berries, grape, toast, and bitter earthy hops. Too thin.

Slight sweet aroma. No gunk on the bottom of this bottle. Clear cream soda rolling and sparkling pour. Big head, even when gently poured. The head stays and ends up being clumps while you drink it. Big full impact on the taste buds with traces of alky picking at tyour palate. Good bold chewyness. Average carbonation. Overall, some mild whiskey hints and attributes, especially during the finish. Tho the alky content is listed here as 7.5%, its not really that overwhelming on the taste buds.
