On tap at Granite State on tap. I got this for my dad and he ended up liking it so much I had to go back and try it for myself. Bit earthy apple with hints of floral hop and a bit of spice. The hop is subtle but adds a bit and rounds things out. I couldn’t drink a lot of this but nice to try once in a while.

Mild ipa hop aroma on an apple cider olfactory. Clear very pale light yellow. Yes, first taste makes this somewhat different, it seems like its trying to be a tuff apa. Then the conventional woodchuck sweet cider thang tries to poke thru. Quite different for a cider, you know, with the hops in there and such. Since I’m not a hop lover, glad to see the hops aren’t in your face. Good blend of mild green grapefruit rind on a sweet cider. Very good co2 as well. Not bad overall. Wish that the ubiquitous IPAs would take a civilized lesson from this stuff. Well balanced hoppy drink. Good citrus blend and feel to this one.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of rich apple that combines with grassy hops that have a touch of citrus in them. Flavor has rich slightly tart apple with a bit of sweetness and grassy hops underlying.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hue with some mild head formation (white head), mild lace that doesn’t stick. Aromas are floral and citrusy, mildly tropical undertones (under ripe papaya), lychee. Hops dominate a bit over any apple aromas. Mild honey, floral, white wine. No sulfur. Flavors are very sweet and somewhat disjointed. Quite a bit of floral hop character, some acidity, mild tannin, slightly vegital. The sweetness makes it come across as an odd Sauterne or Auslese Resiling, just not as nice. Stone fruit, lychee. Not quite balanced enough to counter act the sweetness. Medium low carbonation, medium body.
