@Bfgm15, schenkt zwart met kaki kraag. Aroma van mout, chocolade, caramel, hout, vanille. Smaken van volle chocolade, hoop alcohol, gebrande en geroosterde mouten, iets van aceton/nagellak remover zit er ook in, m/r bitter, complex, alcoholisch, iets te weinig co2, volle body, romig. Jammer dat deze ook te koud wordt geschonken waardoor het erg lang duurt er de aroma’s naar boven komen.

Black color with amber highlight and small tan head that quickly becomes a ring. Sweet malts, chocolate, dark fruit. Taste is rich, sweet, chocolate, dark fruits, very balanced. Smooth carbonation. Very good, but more style-typical than many other De Molens.

Bottle from hopology Nottingham. 2013 bottling date and 10.4%. Thick black colour no head. Aroma is roasted malt, and liquorice. Taste is slightly burnt with a nice bitterness.

Bottle pour labeled under the new name, Cease and Desist. Pours a new black with a big bubbly head. Sweet, slightly boozy aroma. Flavor has sweet fruit, and black licorice. Kind of a pear flavor, which is a little different for the style if you ask me. Interesting beer, and I’m having some trouble really describing what I taste here. I’d like to put a bottle of this away for a while. I see good things for this one in a few years. For now, I liked it. Not quite what I look for in an imperial stout, but I will give this many more tries. Good beer.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours almost black with thin creamy light brown head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and dried fruits. Taste starts with short sour fruity start quickly dominated by moderate sweet and heavily roasted malt, chocolate and coffee following, warming mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Excellent rich and smooth beer with well hidden alcohol...

Bottle shared at Christ’s post GBBF minidig 16/08/2014. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a samll tan head. Aroma is earthy dark roasted grains, farmyard and some nutty malts. Flavour is composed of raisin, dried fruits and berries, nutty choc malts. Palate is semi-sweet, moderate carbonation. Some soy sauce lingering. Not so keen on this, maybe a bad bottle. Bottle at home bottled, 27/02/2013. an ily brown coloured pour with a loose dark tan head. Aroma is oily, roast, red wine, little balsamic, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy roast, hint of ash, red wine, balsamic, mellow age, rich cakey. Palate is semi sweet, rich roast, light tang, oily, lowish carbonation.

Look: opaque brown-black.
Aroma: some bretty yeasty notes at the start, roasty/toasty, coffee, a Belgian stout.
