Optisch goldgelb bis hellbernsteinfarben und klar. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone verhält sich wässerig-flaumig und mäßig gut haltbar. Der Duft gibt hopfenbetonte Noten von reifer Zitrusfrucht, Zitruszesten, Harz und blumigem, hellen Schwarztee wieder. Hellmalzige Noten erscheinen dabei nur leicht im Hintergrund. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, weichrezent, reif zitrusaromatisch bis harzig und süßlich herb. Der Körper mit mäßiger Fülle, feiner Rezenz, leichter, seidiger Textur und zarter Trockenheit schafft ein sehr angenehmes Mundgefühl. Geschmacklich und aromatisch legt sich eine zarte, brotige bis karamellige Malzbasis hin. Darüber wirken die reifen Aromen von Zitrus, Zesten, leichtem Harz und hellem, floralem Schwarztee (Darjeeling, Nepaltee, ...). Ein unglaublich harmonisches, leichtgängiges, frisches Gesamtbild, welches absolut Freude macht und eine unglaublich tolle Drinkability erzeugt. Im Nachtrunk bauen die feine Rezenz gemeinsam mit der zarten Malzbasis zügig ab und die fruchtigen, harzigen und leicht ätherisch-floralen Hopfennoten wirken lange nach. Eine sehr angenehme Hopfenbittere kommt dabei zunehmend auf.

Pours a hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast and floral hops. Bitter, with some notes of sourness. Easy to drink.

[as De Molen Op & Top, hops Citra, Cascade, Columbus] Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, spezie, curry, vaniglia, mango e frutta tropicale.

Bottle from Beer52. Clear gold pour, small white head. Nice balance of malt and hops with this one, caramel and citrus being notable. Nice crisp bite and spice. Medium bodied. Very good.

Bottle 0,33ltr: One of the lower in alcohol of the Molen Brewery, mostly i used to drink higher ones 9% and higher. But this 4,5% hazy orange coloured one with an great bitter taste, is just great too. An true Dutch Bitter from Bodegraven.

Trübe orange goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, fruchtiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, grasig hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus und Orangen. Mittlere Süße mit hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
