This beer is called Heksen & trollen, that translates as Witches & Trolls. Why? We know why but we don't tell! The beer is a Saison, an old Belgian and northern France beer-style. At high temperatures fermented to make it very spicy and refreshing. Lots of citrus in the taste, but with a bitter finish. Light cloudy, blond. Formally known as White Witch

Personally, I have enjoyed a lot this saison beer. There is a lovely touch of tropical hop, mango, passion fruit, perfectly bitter, malt, 20.10.2018.

Tap. Golden pour, thicc white head. Esters and herbal notes, citruses and a moderate bitter touch. Long finish, light body, average to high carbonation.

Aroma of citrus, Saison yeast, grapefruit, peppery notes, hops. Flavour is light sweet and slightly sour, with a moderate bitter finish. Lovely peppery Saison.

Tap at Midzomer BBQ en Bierfestival, Hillegom: Hazy golden colored brew with an dry bitter taste and slightly peppery hints.

Heksen & Trollen Cloudy, pale orange color and a small white head. Yeasty, herbal, funky and (too much) hops.

Aus der Flasche (Heksen & Trollen - bottled 12.06.2019 - bbe 12.06.2021) im 2020-06 getrunken. Dieses leicht trübe Saison ist ein typischer Stilvertreter und kommt mit einer deutlicher Hopfennote daher. Und genau das dort nicht mehr als dieser Hopfeneinfluss ist kann das schöne Sommerbier-Aroma in der Nase nicht helfen das ich es gern im Glas habe.

Labeled Heksen & Trollen. Golden, hazy with a minimal white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops, floral and citrus sense. Medium bitter with a hop, citrus and some floral ending.

# 1611; 11/2019. Nice aroma of fruits with flower notes. Flavor is citrusy, spicy, dry finish, full body. 0,3 l, draught, bar, Prague.
