Draught@TCBW2023 (thanks TBone for this bomb!). Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some alcohol, berries, mild syrupy and also roasted elements to it. Flavour is roasted malts, some toffee, liquorice, syrup, mild chocolate with some mild alcohol sweetness too. Gentle and delicate.

Best before 10/06/29. Black body, with almost no head. Aroma of melting dark chocolate, creme brulee, soy sauce, liquorice, some coffee. Tastes similar, with some more tobacco. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with almost no carbonation. Finishes warm, medium boozy, medium sweet, a bit roasty, with dark chocolate, soy sauce, some toffee. Intense and quite heavy, while not as much as the ABV suggests. Interesting, unique aroma that reminds of creme brulee or a warm dark chocolate dessert, while also with quite a lot of robust dark malt notes. Characterful sipper! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

0,33l waxed bottle at home. BB 2029. Black color, no head. smells marzipan, earthy, nutty, hazelnuts,spices. Nice to very nice smell. full body, no carbonation. tastes smoky, earthy, spices, light whisky, nutty, bitter chocolate. finishes lightly dry with notes of earthy, bitter chocolate and smoky notes. Nice one, alcohol only lightly noticeable,bit intense

Sample at TCBW 2023 Opaque coulour, tiny beige head. Alcohol, some toastyness, berries in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Mellow mouthfeel. Alcohol, sweetness, licorice. Quite simple toasted and caramelly flavour. Hides ABV. Ok.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is roasted malts with coffee and alcohol. Flavor is roasted malts, coffee, alcohol, hops. Does not hide the ABV at all, but good nevertheless.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, leather, caramel and wood. Pours pitch black color with almost non existent brown head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and dried fruity acidity, following is nutty and caramelly, mouthfeel is spicy and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. All I want for Christmas is Icebock Baltic Porter…

Bottle courtesy of Stefan, cheers! This was shared with the Ratebeer München group Friday 26th November 2021. Woah, my word this is sooo strong. Thick mouthfeel, hot, pours black with very little head, getting hot again, does this have chilli? Some chocolate, good.

Bottle. Black color with hardly any head. Aroma is booze, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, almost burning booze, plums. Too much for me right now.
