Red Ryle IPA brewed alongside head brewer and founder Michaël Novo from the exceptional Brasserie du Mont Salève. Pours a rich red with a creamy biscuit head. Six varieties of malts yield a voluptuous body. Lots of late hops and hop standing deliver full hop flavour and aroma with an awesome smooth bitterness. Complex with subtle spiciness, cherries and a dry resonating finish that lasts. Rye and hops, here we stand!

On tap at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol 26/1/2018. Deep amber in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Floral hops, red berry and tangerine fruits, earthy malts and a pleasantly dry finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at the bar in Bermondsey. Hazy russet colour lasting beige head. A little syrupy malt some sourness. Some rye spiciness. Thick and syrupy in the mouth. Sweetish malty. Yes some character no doubt. Grew on me.

Can at the Moor tap room. Slightly murky deep amber beer, good yellowish pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly bitter and burnt toffee, actually quite pleasant. A little dark marmalade. Touch of fresher orange peel. Mild Spice before the light dry finish. Quite engaging.

Can at Moor Arch, Bermondsey. It pours hazy deep mahogany brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is soft, bitter - sweet, oily, spice, ginger bread, toffee dried fruits, earth and cake. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, toasty grain, brown bread, resin, pine, spice, citrus peel, earth, bitter toffee, dried berry, touch of alcohol and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works rather well.

Draft @ Brasserie du Mont Saleve. Pours hazy amber, medium off-white head. Autumnal rye / hedgerow berry aromatics. Taste similarly has a great marriage between the rye and berry-like hop elements, producing a fresh, flavoursome, fruity rye with a long dry close. Very good.
