[ As Roslagens Brygghus Kantarell - Bière de Garde ].
ABV: 7.2%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, minerals - yeast, candy - dried fruit - sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, sweet yeast - fruity yeast, candy, candy - dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle (thanks mabjork!). Ambery copper colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some chanterelles mild spiciness. Flavour is chanterelles. some mild berries, a bit sugary tones with some mild yeast as well.

33cl bouteille de Systembolaget Sigtuna. BB 21/09/2023. Dégustée à l’hôtel.
Couleur cuivre, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur une base maltée - caramel, sucre candi, malt pâle cara, pils, petite pointe de fumé, peut-être ce côté infusion rendant une note terreuse en rétro-nasal.
Palais sur un caractère assez basique. De premier abord, impossible de noter l'apport des chanterelles - à la limite, un léger côté terreux - umami peu se distinguer en fin de bouche, mais en l'état cet ajout ne confère pas grand chose de spécial.
La base reste sur une bière classique d'inspiration française surtout dans l'usage malté caramel, léger sucre résiduel. Amertume en retrait sur le noble, je note une petite note rappelant l'abricot séché, et un sucre/doux en fin de bouche.
