Sour Gold je kompleksno kislo pivo iz našega programa zorenja piva v hrastovih sodih. Gre za pivo, ki je več kot pol leta zorjeno v hrastovih sodih belega vina, kjer kompleksna mešana fermentacija različnih skrbno izbranih mikrobov pokaže širok razpon sadnih in pikantnih arom na nežni osnovi svetlega ječmena z dodatno globino karakterja hrastovih sodov. V končni mešanici so skrbno izbrani sodi, tako da se v tem delikatnem pivu poudari harmonijo na vseh ravneh. Gre za zelo kompleksno pivo z visoko pitnostjo, primerno za večletno staranje.

[ As Barut Sour Gold ].
ABV: 6.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, dough, sour fruit, grapes - fruity, yeast, barrel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dough, yeast, sour fruit, grapes - fruit, sweet malt, fruity malt, barrel, light vinous. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, white wine, flowers and has a nice vinous finish.

On tap at 13th Beer & Burger Fest, Ljubljana. Thanks, Miha! Hazy dark golden to brownish amber, small off-white head. Aroma is funky, citrusy, lemony, fruity, wine-like, some sour fruit. Moderately sour taste, balanced with malty bready sweetness. Flavour is fruity, lemony, slightly sharp wine-like, tannins, some wood and a beautiful dark bready balance. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Complex, yet drinkable.
