With its attractive golden hue, plentiful foam & creamy texture this clings to the inside of the glass. The first thing that you will note will be the taste of the lemon, but this is never an overpowering flavour. This will then be followed by the note of malt and acacia honey, contrasting to the apple and tropical fruit notes. This awakens your palate far more than first impressions indicate - with the fruit notes hitting the front and middle of your tongue and the citric notes, while never bitter hit the back. The taste that you are left with is harmonious - a natural occurrence in a beer so well balanced. And as this characteristic of such a particular citrus fruit is counterbalanced beautiful by the aromatic hops.

10/05/2012 Open Baladin Roma (750ml bottle). Dorata, lievemente torbida, bella schiuma biancastra, molto persistente.

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks FB!). Amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is barnyard, sweet malts, spices, some slight leathery and earthy notes along with mild herbs. Flavour is being quite similar with a quite dry fruity and herbal finish. Pleasantly balanced. Nice performance from this (for me) new brewery.
