As Warrior IPA. From Lidl in Lisbon. Light brown. Stable off white head.Medium body. Some tropical and citric notes. Caramel. Enjoyable

Deadication beer to Dragas Palaeologus - the last Constantine Emperor who died on this day - the anniversary of the fall of Constantinople. He was a warrior leader. This Warrior ale is by no means a leader, drinkable but mid-range at best with a malty-hoppy character.

0.33 l bottle. Pours copper with dense, long lasting off-white head. Nose is faint piney hops and slight malts. Moderately bitter in taste with short finish. Light body, somewhat watery mouthfeel, average carbo. Fairly drinkable but quite mediocre.

33cl bottle from a UK Lidl (as Warrior IPA): BB 12th April 2025. Drank at home on 21st September 2024. Slight haze in the dirty orange/ old gold coloured body, wispy white affair on top. Malty front with a marmalade like orange flavour and aroma. Decent hop bite too, another beer scored poorly by people because it's a Lidl product, nothing wrong with this at all.

[33cl bottle from Lidl, Crowthorne, as Warrior IPA, same barcode and label'] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; malty aroma; sweet malty taste; and a resinous bitterness to finish. A very basic IPA.

Bottle from Lidl at home in London 13/08/2024 Malty leaning IPA with sweet notes of caramel and toffee, fudge, just a flicker of fruity hop undertones, light to medium body, subdued hoppy and heavy malty finish.

Bottle from Lidl Inverurie as Crafted for Lidl Warrior IPA. It pours clear dark reddish - amber with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sappy, resin, toffee, brown bread, digestive biscuits, pine needles and some orange marmalade. The taste is dry, firm, some bitterness, bitter - sweet character, sappy, resin, pine needles, wood, toffee, spicy, brown bread, caramel digestive biscuits, touch of orange marmalade, touch green and leafy with a fairly short finish. Medium body and average carbonation..not too bad. Quite an old school malty IPA, which I don't mind.

Bottle from Lidl Blairgowrie. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aromas of sweet tropical fruit and sweet orange. Faint malt on the taste. Chewy finish.

As Warrior IPA, from Lidl Colwyn Bay. Aroma is malty, smoky. Clear brown. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Grainy. Had a caramel and doughy edge. Light. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Odd doughy grainy stuff. Like a Kvass IPA?!
