Tasted as Patriot APA Huge, fluffy, lightly yellowish head, whipped eggwhite-like and some lace over lightly carbonated clear copper beer. Floral hops upon opening but soon overwhelmed by a truckload of caramel. Almonds, marzipan, amandine and oxydation. Metallic bitterness initially, making way for bitter almonds, perfumey, but always with a persistent wry, acorn-like bitter. Light body. Aftertaste is watery, once the main flavours have faded away. Rather low carbonation. The blurb calls it "balanced and complex". Hitting the nail on the head with exactly what it isn't. Thanks to Stef!

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, honey and biscuit. Pours cloudy amber color with medium sized soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet biscuity and floral, following is grassy, fruity and honeyish, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Very promising aroma, even taste’s not so bad, but there is some strange astringency with metallic notes that just don’t work together with other characteristics...

As Patriot from Lidl. Pours somewhat hazy amber, topped with medium sized, just slightly offwhite head, not really lasting. Very pleasat fruity aroma, ripe peaches, resin and some biscuity notes. Moderate bitterness, piney character. Lasting aftertaste. Medium light body. Not bad, especially with thst price.

Bottled 330ml. -from local Lidl as Patriot. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild citrusy herbal nose. Sweetish malty, light citrusy and herbal with rather strong bitter finish. Better than other two I've rated but not much.

Bottle, 0.33l. From local Lidl, as Lidl Patriot. Cloudy copper pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Pretty good retention and lacing. Nice on the nose, clean and fresh, herbal grassy character with subtle fruity touch. Thin body, soft to medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel, average texture. Mildly bitter taste with sweet notes coming out towards the finish. Aroma of herbs, grassy hops. Light citrus notes, touch of orange peel. Malty sweet background. Short to medium finish, mildly bitter and slightly dry. Overall, surprisingly decent thirst quencher. Very good value for money.

Licht oranjebruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter en fruitig met vreemd genoeg iets van toffee erin. Verrassend goede IPA maar wel met een iets andere smaak dan gewoonlijk.

Finom, őszibarackos gyümölcsös illat, szép tiszta borostyán szín. A hab piszkosfehér, vékeny, közepes lyukú. Magas beltartalom érződik a sörön. Ízre keményen keserű, Igazi IPA- APA keverék, mivel annyira számomra nem gyümölcsös, mint a többi citrusosabb APA. Viszont a sör nagyon finom. Kerek, édeskés íz a markáns gyümölcsös keserű mellett. Finom, örülök, hogy újra kapható, és elérhető áron. Sokszor 2x ennyiért sem kaptam ilyen szintű IPA-t, APA-t. Nagyon hasonló a saját főzetű IPA-m hoz :)

Delicate, peach fruity aroma, nice pure amber color. The foam is off-white, thin, with a medium hole. High content is felt on the beer. It tastes hard bitter, a Real IPA-APA blend as it is not as fruity to me as other more citrus APAs. However, the beer is very delicious. Round, sweet taste with a pronounced fruity bitter. Delicious, glad to be available again and at an affordable price. Many times I didn’t get this level of IPA, APA for 2x that much. Very similar to my self-brewed IPA :)

bottle @ lidl (budapest) golden orange colour, normal body, average carbonated, fine fruit smells, citrus, tropical fruits aroma, extra hoppy, very dry mouthfeel, not really APA, but feels like IPA
