Our Flat White Porter is rich and chocolatey with sweetness from the malt and crunchy bitterness from the hops with a subtle coffee note.

Bottle. Adnams Cellar and Kitchen, Holt, Norfolk. Clear, dark brown. Thin, dense, sticky, beige head. Nose has earthy coffee bean. Some coffee ice cream. Hint of dark chocolate. Woody and ashy. Taste has a light, chocolate sweetness. Turns earthy and woody bitter. Light body. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. A little ashy and dry on the finish.

Keg at Kings Arms, Waterloo. Low key creamy coffee aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. Low key creaminess, followed by an equally low key berry bitterness. Thick bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Astringent finish. Really quite bland. A 0-0 bore draw with a decent palate.
