Hel & Verdoemenis is bursting with flavors. Bitter, roasted, chocolate, coffee. All times 2. It's this why it's our Flag Ship and best selling Imperial Stout. For this edition we added hazelnut to add even an extra dimension. Flavour indication: chocolate, coffee Translates as Hell & Damnation Hazelnut

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is lovely hazelnut, milk chocolate, roasted malt, mocha, caramel, more nutty notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Delivers as promised, lots of hazelnut, it takes a hazelhead to appreciate this one...

No cream here, a flat (as in no head), roasty, bitter chocolate and coffee bomb. Sweet nougat-like hazelnut. Very nice.

Bottled 17-10-17. This is actually way more subtle and nicer than I feared. No Omnipollo vibes, no Nutella, just a great base with some hazelnuttyness thrown in. Heavy bitter roast, sweet hazelnut, coffee, dark chocolate. Seem fairly thin for a H&V.

Opaque dark brown beer, big bubbly tan head. Hazelnuts obvious in the nose. Smooth palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich chocolatey malts. Trace of dark chocolate covered Malteasers. Mildly bitter Hazlenuts, well integrated. Bouncy dark fruits. Smooth finish brings a modicum of spice. Rich and flavoursome but effortlessly quaffable. A very nice addition to this series of beers that has been around forever. Well almost.
