I have been down to Struisse brewery and brewed with Urbaine and sampled the original dark horse and lowed it. This new bottle don't have the same complexity as the original bottle that had a magic brett caracter and well balanced lactic acidity.
This beer have a huge acidity but no brett caracter.

2018 vintage; obviously aged sample Small, yellowish-creamy head over reddish, almost black beer. Lactic acid and light acetic acid, and very vinous. Strong red wine with dark chocolate. Even more sour taste than the nose suggested, but no more chocolate and less vinous. Sour apple, even cider vinegar. Sharp, dark malts. Acidburn and -thinning, quite slick as well. Strange stickyness, but not syrupy. Just that tad too sharp - otherwise this would be a great 'Imperial' oud bruin.

(Bottle, bottled 6 Feb 2018) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty, sourish nose with oak wood, balsamic vinegar, tamarind, chocolate, herbs, spices and orange peel. Fruity, malty, tart taste with notes of oak wood, balsamic vinegar, caramel, tamarind, cacao, orange peel, herbs, spices and a tart finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Complex, woody, really tart and quite tasty. Very nice.
Lovely fruity dirty stuff. Our bruin goodness, can’t quite get the barrel so much, but it’s still great.

Draught@TCBW2018. Deep brown colour with a small ogg-white head. Aroma is vinegar, some berries, mild plum and raisins with some tart wooden tones. Flavour is vinegar, some plum, dates, dried fruits, wood and mild tartness as well. A wee bit acidity to it as well.

Bottle shared by Jack, thanks! Pours a hazy dirty amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart red fruits with oak and a light funk amount of light funk. Flavor has tart red fruits and light acid with earthy grain and leafy funk supporting.

Black beer. This has an unusual yeast character and some horseblaket. Roasted malt with sugar and a dry finish
