Our golden strong British IPA, refreshing and easily quaffable for a 5% ale.
Brewed with a great balance of malts and hops this beer is an easy drinking brew with a slight sweetness in the finish. Mischief - it lives up to its name...
For a 5% ale this brew is remarkably drinkable but still carries all the flavour and body that you'd expect from a stronger pint.

Bottled 500ml (Prisma Itäkeskus, BB 04/2019)
A bit hazy golden colour, small steady white head and some lace. Grassy and a bit grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus, grass and some grainyness even some tartness lurking in the flavour. Bitterish aftertaste. Even after probably 4,5 months seen its best days. Bottle says IPA, I think this was marketed before as ESB, but I would say it is Bitter (or English-style IPA).

Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a strong head. The aroma is yeasty with some citric element. The flavour is gently bitter with a touch of fruitiness and yeastiness. Overall a nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A golden beer, a head is quite small and white. Aroma has grain, fruitness, wet grass, some caramel. Taste has grain, wet grass, not fresh, mild bitterness. Medium bodied. This beer should be much fresher.

Rochdale Beer Festival 2015. Has a hoppiness in its nose, with some malts and an overriding sweetness.

Very light haze on this gold beer. Big pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp from fine minerally carbonation. Light sweetish pale malts. Mild floralness. The hops are pretty mild but what there is exhibits a fresh orange. Light finish. Fresh and breezy, goes down easy!

Pours a slightly hazy golden with small off-white head on top. A mild malty aroma, not much else there really. The taste is mildly bittery, some biscuity notes, very minimal. Easily drinkable, smooth and nice overall.

500ml Bottle: BBD end of Dec 14, drank outside in the sun on 15th June 14. Pours an old gold colour, mine was a little hazy to look at, on top a white wispy head. Nice blend, malt lead with a semi-drying hop finish. A good solid brew, I’m warming to Monty’s beers.

Cask @ Ludlow Spring Festival May 14. Pours gold with a light floral character and bitter orange cordial notes. Another solid, refreshing brew from Montys.

Taster at the Hop Pocket Wine Company. Pours golden amber with a slight white head. Rather fizzy, but a good full mouthfeel nevertheless. Lots of citrus - lemon and grapefruit - with a bog spicy kick in the finish. My second of the weekend from this brewery and I’m liking them a lot.
