Served from PerfectDraft Off white creamy head stayed on an amber body. Nutty, malt & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a clean back. Malt, caramel, fruity, toffee & sweet berry tastes. Very nice.

750ml bottle from Carrefour in Calais - deep russet body with a foamy white top. Nose is sticky dates and plums with a lot of barley sugar sweets on top. Taste as expected has the clove and vanilla backdrop, but is sweet with a little boozy burn and a slight bittersweet kick at the back.

Bottled 250ml. -from Geant Albertville. Darker amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, spicy alcoholic nose. Toasted malt, light caramel, sugary and spicy notes with pretty high carbonation. Some subdued trace of mint also. Drinkable.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours dark brown, medium cream coloured head. Herbal notes on the nose, spice, caramelised malt. Taste continues the odd herbal spice notes, not exactly sure where this comes from. Some additional brown bread, caramel, nutty toasted malt, distant chocolate with that spicy linger returning. Not my favourite Royale but more flavour present than previous.
